How to encourage yourself in The Lord today
As we follow His leading and seek His Kingdom we can trust Him to take care of everything else that needs to be taken of.
Promise.
Come and see.
As we follow His leading and seek His Kingdom we can trust Him to take care of everything else that needs to be taken of.
Promise.
Come and see.
The beauty of receiving Gods comfort and love and giving Him our pain is that He will take it, yoke us to Himself and hand in hand show us how we can partner with Him to bring beauty in the midst of the pain we are carrying.
Come and see.
These seasons of walking through tremendous heartbreak will not be wasted.
Somehow, someway, In Gods love and mercy He will see us through. He will comfort us. He will bring beauty from our ashes.
Come see how.
If you’re just waking up to the reality that there is a very real war for our minds this can be discouraging, but please don’t despair.
Gods got us!
I want to invite you on the journey Father has invited me on. It is one of nearness and an abiding hope in God. Come and see.
The way we renew our minds. The way we WIN the fight against the enemy of our souls is by presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice to our God, and then we will be able to not conform to the patters of this world.
It is then and only then, that we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds and when we are transformed and renewed in our minds we will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.
It is simple.
But it is not easy.
There is a real fight.
But I want you to know, you have everything you need to live a life that is surrendered to God. All you need is you. Because that is all He requires, you, all of you.
Sister, His Son Jesus is worthy of our sacrifice.
I hold on to these promises when the attacks come, “you pushed me with violence but The Lord came to my defense.” God WILL come to our defense.
His peace is a free gift of His Spirit.
It is Who He is. Giver of Peace, for He is peace Himself.
One of the nine fruits of the spirit, given to you and I, these are outlined in Galatians 5:22-23
Sister, whatever you are walking through today, I want to invite you to rest in the abiding Presence of Our Savior King.
He will never leave us, nor forsake us. No matter how it feels today, let these be the words you speak.
“The Lord is my defense, my very present help in time of trouble.”
Speak His Word, back to Him.
Father has joy for us. Peace for us. Laughter and yes, even fun! So much fun!
The enemy?
He comes to kill, steal and to destroy.
Of course he doesn’t want us to rejoice in the life that we have.
He wants us to be miserable and to question Gods goodness, to doubt His provision.
All things I have done.
Because when clarity leaves, confusion sets in and causes much chaos in our minds.
I invite you see with me the beauty and the fun that is present here and now.
Hope takes courage.
Because believing He will fill us with hope and the ability to love again will take courage. A courage that only He can provide.
Even the faith to ask will have to come from Him, and I fully believe that if you ask Him He will provide it, because it aligns with His will for our lives.
When life is hard and painful and all we see and hear and feel is pain, look up, can you hear Him calling, calling you closer. This giant that is before you will not destroy you. God will see us through.
When my heart is overwhelmed I cry out to God. If I am not able to step away from the situation I silently pray. If it is an issue with one of my children, I will pray out loud with and without them.
I want you to know that God truly does desire to bring us hope and healing, salvation, each and every single day, and in every moment. He wants to be our all and all.
When my mind is spiraling with all the negative thoughts, I know I can count on Him to help me. How?
Because His Word tells us in Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not with Him also give us all things.”
What a promise! I needed to hear this. In the midst of trials and tribulations and everyday hard moments I need this hope. God cares. God sees. God will help.
