How to love the body you have today
Our brains are incredible sister.
They will believe what we tell them. If we focus on everything that is “wrong” with us, guess what will loop in our minds?
Discover with me a new way to live! Come and see!

Digging deeper into what it means to have peace, even in unknowns, even in pain. Even here.
So often in my life, the life of the people around me, we battle guilt, shame and condemnation over the ways we respond or react to certain situations.
Often the way we react has a lot to do with our upbringing and the way our brain has been wired.
God has hope for us. Peace that stays.
Father has joy for us. Peace for us. Laughter and yes, even fun! So much fun!
The enemy?
He comes to kill, steal and to destroy.
Of course he doesn’t want us to rejoice in the life that we have.
He wants us to be miserable and to question Gods goodness, to doubt His provision.
All things I have done.
Because when clarity leaves, confusion sets in and causes much chaos in our minds.
I invite you see with me the beauty and the fun that is present here and now.
I used to often wonder, why is it so difficult for some of us to find joy in simple seemingly insignificant, mundane every day moments.
I don’t often wonder that anymore as the more I live the more that I see, we compare our lives so much to others.
Some of us gage how good of a day we are having based on what someone else is doing.
If someone is on vacation having an amazing time and I’m “stuck” at home washing dishes and changing dirty diapers their life appears to be so much better than mine.
Sister, this just isn’t the truth.
For most of us, we can’t just pick up and go on vacation, and many times after months of plan we might still not be able to travel very far from home.
I want to invite you on a journey of enjoying the simple mundane moments and adding more beauty into our everyday lives.
When I tell you God is kind. I know Him to be kind. I have seen His kindness in my life over and over again, even in seasons of deep pain.
He will not leave us alone. He will meet us. He will cause His joy to arise deep within us, even in sorrow.
Because joy is not dependent on our circumstances but on who He is! He is joy. He is Peace. And He offers these to us, amidst the disappointments and pain. He offers us Himself.
“Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.”
In our suffering. Our mourning. We will be met with His comfort and compassion.
Strength to face the very real and painful challenges we walk through in our lives.
We will reap a harvest if we do not give up! Do not give up! The enemy will whisper lies.
“He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32
Have you ever wondered why we’re able to remember something more easily through song? Would you believe it is by design?
Like the depths of the ocean, washing over me, cleansing me from years of pain, and depths of sorrow no person should ever have to walk through. Even in this place hope is here. No matter what we go through in life we will not be forsaken. Lift up your voice to The Holy One who loves you most. He who is enthroned upon the praises of His people.
Maybe you’ve been wondering, how do I grow in community? I want to make true friends that are “closer than a brother” (sister). But how? Whether you have fine China to set out or paper plates, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you are obedient, open your doors!!!
Is there really hope in the Valley? Can we truly have peace? Lets look together and see what hope we may find…
Are there keys to living a slow peaceful life? A life marked by joy even in chaos? I believe so, yes. This is your hope for today.
I pray this post blesses you.
