How to walk in bold faith and courage today
We are called to walk in bold faith and courage. How do we accomplish this? By what power and might?

Many women today feel run down, overworked, overlooked, overwhelmed. The demands of life are many.
How exactly are we supposed to live out our faith boldly and with courage?
I want us to begin by defining some words.
Bold is defined by Dictionary.com as, A willingness to take a risk, to act in a way that uses new, creative ideas
Faith is defined by Dictionary.com as, A complete trust, confidence in someone else.
As we are women of faith, we place our faith in God.
Courage is defined by Dictionary.com as, The ability to do something that frightens you.
I want us to dive deep into Ephesians 1:11-14
“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Acquire, possess, our inheritance.
We are to acquire an inheritance, what is this inheritance, sisters? Christ The Hope of Glory! The Gospel of our Salvation, the Word of truth. Eternal life.
We have been sealed in Holy Spirit. Who is it that empowers? Holy Spirit! Who is it that equips?
Holy Spirit.
Who is it that gives us courage and might? Is it our own power? Our own strength?
Do we just grab life by the boot straps and carry on?

Staying rooted in Gods Word; for the strengthening of our faith and for the boldness needed to live for Him
As women of faith I want Gods Word, the bible to be our first line of defense sister, not asking ourselves what we think of a situation, because the truth is, we already know. In all things I want us to seek the counsel of God. Especially in His written Word.
He will never contradict His Word. This is a safety for us!
If you ever feel God has told you something but it contradicts His Word, I invite you to seek Godly counsel and to seek the Lord fervently about this. Remember that satan comes like an Angel of light, he is a deceiver.
If Christ needed to stay rooted in Gods Word, sisters, we do too! (See Matthew 4 for the incredible testing of Christ in the wilderness, what did Jesus speak out when tempted by the devil? It was Gods own Word, go see!)
What does the Word actually say? In Zechariah 4:6
According to the scriptures, The Angel of the Lord responds to Zechariah as He is interpreting a vision of what God is showing him, and this is the response, “…Not by might, nor by Power, but by My Spirit…”

All that The Lord has called you and I to do will not be accomplished through our own might, our own power, our own wits. It just won’t.
Yes we have been created in His image and we can do all things, but please remember it is THROUGH Christ, who gives strength. He who has predestined us, has called us, has also equipped us, to do the good words He had for us, from before the foundation of the world.
According to Ephesians 1:4, 2:10. It is all by His grace.
The reason why we may often feel worn down and running ragged is because we don’t always ask The Lord, Am I supposed to be doing this Lord?
Please hear me, I am coming out of a very dark , difficult season of deep hardship, the weariness is real. The spiritual attacks on every side are real. Family and dear friends dying, it was all real and the heaviness and fog was difficult to walk through.
I am not for one second insinuating that our lives should be easy and free of conflict.
Sister, as much as I would love for this to be true most days, this just isn’t the truth of Gods Word.
We don’t need to look very far to see our world is in turmoil. For many of us the battle is not outside of our homes, but in our minds, within our own families.
Yet, God has said, Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers, authorities and principalities in the spiritual realm, our enemy is the prince and ruler of the air.

Every single day, we have to make a choice. Multiple times a day.
Whom will we believe? God, or the lies disguised as truth?
Whom will we trust, our own strength, or His?
Whom will we rely on? When the floor gives in, whom will we turn to?
When the world say’s that following Christ doesn’t make sense?
Sister, my prayer for us is that we will rely on The Holy One. He who is worthy of all of the Praise, Glory and Honor.
Walking with God when it is difficult
The more I live, the more I walk with Father, the more I am convinced, as Peter declared in Matthew 16:16,
“You are The Christ, The Son of the living God.”
A couple books later in John 6:68-69, Jesus has shared a very difficult truth to accept, unless you eat my body/flesh and drink my blood you can have no part of me. (Also John 15, learning to Abide in Him)
“Life is in the blood.” According to Leviticus 17:11
His body would break for us.
These were deeper spiritual truths He was sharing but some of the people were disturbed by this teaching, and many of the followers left.

Jesus turns to His 12 disciples and say’s, “Do you also want to go away?”
Peter responds:
“Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, also we have come to believe and know that you are The Christ, The Son of The Living God. (emphasis mine)
If The Lord Jesus gave His life for you and I, than you and I can rest knowing we have been bought with His precious blood, and absolutely nothing can separate according to His Word, in Romans 8,
“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36Just as it is written,
“FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG;
WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.”
37But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Sister, please go back and read it again, NOTHING, absolutely nothing can separate us from The Lord Jesus.
Yes, some days it feels as though we are heading for the slaughter, the trials and tribulations we are walking through are so painful. We may be crying out, Lord, where are you?
He has said, “Never will I leave you nor forsake you.” So I keep holding onto these truths, because our God is a God of habitation, He has made His home in us, we host the living God. Our bodies are the Temple of God. He doesn’t come and go as He did in days of old.
He is here to stay and this is beautiful news for us!
Life often feels uncertain. Unsteady.
Yes, this is true, but come close, this is the truth, God is faithful.
He tells us in Psalms 18, He prepares our hands for battle, He equips us for the war. “We may never march in an infantry, ride in the calvary, but sister, we are in The Lords army!”

The strength He provides is unwavering!
Lean in. He knows.
Sister, Our Jesus knows.
I will remind us again, we have a High Priest who is able to sympathize with us. In every single regard our precious Savior King suffered, was betrayed, rejected, despised and yet, He did not give in!
He saw the prize, sister. He knew the glory that awaited Him.
He saw the beauty of what was to be restored in Him. He saw His children free from the chains of bondage and He took the cross.
He took us who were dead and He made us alive in Himself. Jesus took the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands, all of this Christ set aside and nailed it to the cross! (Colossians 2:13-15)
Christ, disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him.
colossians 2:15

Draw close with me as we flip to Philippians 2, I’ll wait go get your bible, (or read it below from the Berean Standard Version from Bible Hub):
Philippians 2:1-11
1Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.
3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
The Mind of Christ
(Isaiah 52:13–15)
5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
something to be grasped,a
7but emptied Himself,
taking the form of a servant,
8And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself
and became obedient to death—
9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place
and gave Him the name above all names,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”

What this means for us all:
Because Our Savior King humbled Himself to the point of death, even death on the cross, God exalted Him, gave Him the Name that is above every single Name, that at the name of Jesus every single knee should bow and every single tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Sister, we are a part of something special here! We have been grafted into this eternal story. Christ has promised that nothing would ever pluck us from His hands!
Elohim, set in motion that we should be image bearers. Our Savior King defeated darkness at the cross so that in Him we would triumph.
If life feels hard, it’s because it is!
If it feels difficult to share the word of God with others, it is because sometimes it is. We live in a world that is most hostile to the Christian faith, But God, He has not left us as orphans!
He gave His life that we might become The righteousness of Christ. The next time you’re feeling unsure about sharing your faith I want you to pray this simple prayer,
Holy Father, empower me by your Spirit, through your Son Jesus to speak as boldly as I ought to speak.
I promise you, He will be faithful to you.
Father will show you.
The truth is, Holy Spirit desires to encounter His children! Many times more often than we are willing to open our mouths to share when we feel the prompting of His Spirit.

How do I know this? Because Jesus told us that Holy Spirit, the Comforter would lead us into all truth, He would expose the works of the devil, He would remind us of Gods truths, He would be our advocate!
Sister, this is just a little of what Holy Spirit does, in and through us!
Today, grab a hold of His Word with me, lets take Father by the hand and go where He leads us.
Yes, sometimes shaking in our boots, but lets go, because He is saying, “This is the way, now walk in it”. (Isaiah 30:21)
Remember that in Him we live and breathe and have our being. He is our all and all, and He will not fail us now!
Let’s keep seeking Him together. Rejoicing always, pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all things, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus, that we give thanks always.
Father knows something about thanksgiving and what it does in our beings when we give praise, even through difficult situations.
He knows it strips the enemy of power over us. (James 4:7)
We are not exalting the difficulty, no, we are choosing to exalt Him in the midst of it.
I am trusting alongside you. I’m in this with you, even as I’m grabbing a hold of Fathers hand believing we will see His goodness in the land of the living!
